Kids in India   What do you know about the one billion people in India? 'Kids in India' offers a glimpse into the life and culture of children living in rural villages.   These presentations was shot while visiting the programs of PLAN International, a large NGO (non-government organization) and its local partners in India: MYRADA, SWRC and SAMSKAR.   This second presentation is primarily SAMSKAR programs from Nizamabad District in Andhra Pradesh, India.The sound track is from an interview with Mrs. Hemalata Lavanam, founder of SAMSKAR. Jogini women from the same district sing at the beginning and end of the presentation. Images of children and families are from programs in various parts of India in 2001.
